Your Harmonized Amplifier is designed to be worn and treasured. These simple steps will help protect its finish, stones, and structure.
Caring for your piece
Your Harmonized Amplifier needs very little. The most important habit is simple: keep it dry. Take it off before showering, bathing, swimming, or working out. Water and sweat dull the silver and leave residue in the etched lines.
When you take it off, give both sides a quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth, including the witness well.
If it ever looks dull, polish the smooth silver lightly with a silver polishing cloth, keeping the cloth off the quartz. A soft, dry makeup brush lifts dust from the etched circuit lines.
A few more things to keep in mind:
- Touch the witness well with clean, dry fingertips, since lotion leaves a film in the spiral.
- Set it down gently. It's a substantial piece, about 50 grams, so it swings when you lean forward.
- Put it on after your perfume, lotion, and sunscreen have dried.
If the silver ever looks a little yellow or gray, that's natural tarnish. A few light strokes with a silver polishing cloth will bring it back. A little darkening deep in the etched lines can make the circuit stand out beautifully, so polish only as much as you like.
Where to keep it
If you live somewhere humid or near the coast, seal it in a small zip bag with an anti-tarnish strip when you're not wearing it, and keep it in a drawer. Never store it in the bathroom, where steam speeds tarnish.
If you'd like to keep it on your altar, choose a spot out of direct sunlight and away from candle flames, and rest it on a soft cloth or a selenite plate with the witness well facing up. Silver tarnishes a little faster in open air, so give it a light polish now and then.
Cleansing its energy
To energetically cleanse and recharge your Harmonized Amplifier, rest it under the light of the full moon overnight, or lay it on a selenite crystal or plate, witness well facing up. Both are gentle and never touch the silver. It's a lovely moment to trace the spiral and renew your intention, too.
