Your gold Meditator is designed to be worn and treasured. These simple steps will help protect its finish, stones, and structure.

Caring for your crown

Your Meditator needs very little. The most important habit is simple: keep it dry. Take it off before showering, bathing, saunas, hot yoga, or swimming. Water is especially hard on the fluorite, the softest of its three stones.

When you take it off, support the centerpiece with one hand so it doesn't swing. Give the back of the centerpiece and the chain a quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth, especially after a long or warm session.

If it ever looks dull, breathe lightly on the gold to fog it, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth. A soft, dry makeup brush lifts dust from the filigree.

A few more things to keep in mind:

• Keep it out of long, direct sunlight, which can fade the fluorite.
• Set it down gently. Iolite can split with a sharp knock, and moonstone can chip.
• Put it on after skincare, makeup, and hair products have dried.

Gold never tarnishes, so a soft cloth is all it needs to stay bright.

Where to keep it

Lay your crown flat, centerpiece face up, with the chain laid out straight or coiled loosely so it doesn't tangle.

If you live somewhere humid or near the coast, keep it in a soft pouch or lined box in a drawer, away from humidity, with nothing resting on the centerpiece. Never store it in the bathroom.

If you'd like to keep it on your altar or meditation space, choose a spot out of direct sunlight and away from candle flames, and rest it on a soft cloth or a selenite plate. Gold never tarnishes, so a soft cloth keeps it bright on your altar.

Cleansing its energy

To energetically cleanse and recharge your crown, rest it under the light of the full moon overnight, or lay it on a selenite crystal or plate. Both are gentle and never touch the gold. If you use moonlight, move it before the morning sun reaches it.
