Caring for your piece

Your True Love Attractor needs very little. The most important habit is simple: keep it dry. Take it off before showering, bathing, swimming, or working out. Water, sweat, and lotion can dull the finish and can harm the crystals.

When you take it off, give both sides a quick wipe with a soft, dry cloth, moving gently around the crystals.

If it ever looks dull, breathe lightly on the gold to fog it, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

A few more things to keep in mind:

• Keep it out of long, direct sunlight. The rose quartz can fade if it sits in a sunny window.
• Take it off before sports or yoga. Rainbow moonstone is softer than most stones and can chip with a hard knock.
• Put it on after your perfume, lotion, and sunscreen have dried.

Gold never tarnishes, so a soft cloth is all it needs to stay bright.

Where to keep it

If you live somewhere humid or near the coast, keep it in a soft pouch in a drawer, away from humidity. Never store it in the bathroom.
